5.  You can always pick supplementary form to other departments with lower competition, each department starts selling their supplementary form after calculating their average. You can check in your department of interest's general office to know when it's on sale.
6. There are some departments that needs more candidates every year, and picking their supplementary form is "sure" admission, they even paste notice in school for more students, Maths and Stats is known for that and more.

THE STRIKE IS OVER FOR POLYUNWANA

Following the media update from the registrar of Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic Unwana, the 10 months old industrial action embarked by the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics is officially over for the polytechnic.

This is to inform all students of Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana and the public that Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana will re-open on Monday, 2^nd of June, 2014 for the First Semester of 2013/2014 academic session.

Registration of new students starts immediately on Monday, 2^nd of June, 2014 and lectures will begin on Monday, 9^th of June, 2014.

Jamb 2014: Getting Better or Worse

With the recent release of UTME 2014 Paper and Pen Test result, calls have been filtering through to me about the cut off mark for Polyunwana.
At a point I started to question, why the desperatoin when the school is still on strike and even though the school resumes, we will still need to run the first semester  for 4 months or less and then the second semester when the post UTME exam take place.
The answer came when I heard the Jamb performance summery over the TV.
Most persons didn't score up to 180 as the cut off for most universities, thus their hope for admission has been shifted to the polytechnics.
Hmmh, As Second class citizens in the education sector, where less brains are required? That's why we are on strike for the past six months.
Before you crucify me, honestly, it's getting worse, the performance is not encouraging.
