Asuu Calls Off Strike, Asup Next

Report making wave over the internet suggests ASUU must have called off her 6 months old strike, Am not sure because it seems vanguard is of a contrary opinion, I stand to be corrected though.
Well if they haven't it's high time they do, not because of the strike, but to enable the Federal Government to Understand that if not for the 3 weeks break, ASUP started her strike 3 months before ASUU and are still in the game, just saying.
Notwithstanding, Weather they call it off or not, I don't think students will be ready to go back to school this year, I doubt, expecting someone to clear my doubt, I trust Polyunwana, you could write Quiz on the 24th and that's it.
All the same, they said it's for our good that they embark on the strike, hope it will be good enough when they end the strike.
With the end of ASUU Industrial action, I hope ASUP will follow suite before the end of the month, at most by early next year.

Happy Xmas in Advance.
Remember  Admin o, Your Rice and Chicken will be highly appreciated.

Apology: We Promise To Be Active Once More

Dear Students, Staff, Alumni, Prospects, Stakeholders and friends of Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic Unwana and Brain Temple Association, I tender this apology on behalf of the current excos of Brain Temple Association for our inability to consistently update you of the on goings in the institution via our blog and social media network (facebook).
Hampered by the ongoing industrial action embarked by the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, the Association is challenged in organisational efficiency and information accessibility, we therefore plead for your kind consideration.
Its a culture in Brain Temple, once you are a member, you are a member for life, that's why even though I've graduated from the Institution, I still owe it as a duty to keep what we've started ongoing.
To this effect, I will remann the admin position of the school fanpage www.fb.com/polyunwana and the school blog www.polyunwana.info .
But then, am like a blind leader, am far from the school and recently I lost my contacts, but then, there is a smart way of getting things done.
Remember those times in school, when you ask a question to a lecturer in class and the lecturer  turns around and redirects the question to the class? That's just what am about to do.
We have all it takes to get what ever information we need. In our fanpage are lecturers, deans and on the spot assessors who will form our reporting team.
Furthermore, I must warn you that there will be no dull moment on any of our social media networks as we have streamlined activities to keep you entertained and informed. Sorry if you have a poor sense of humour.
Finally, I wish you the best of the season, Merry Xmas in advance.
Watch out for more.

Graduation: A Landmark on The Journey

With pomp and fair that herald the final exams at HND level, A GRADUATE IS BORN!! into the society.
That was my position just yesterday, finally, I've been liberated so to say.

World here I come, was she even listening, the school environment was still the same, the walk home, the same except for some occasional congratulatory messages from well wishers, and baptism by water (you won't understand if you are not a student of polyunwana), the sleep was the same too, No something happened, my alarm was still on for the normal reading period and I woke up to do same, not until I remembered, it's over for the time being "you can sleep till day break" I said to myself.

This morning, I woke up in grace, thanked God for the sweet sleep, (it's been long) and his grace through the days of sleeplessness and then suddenly, I had a mood swing, a sober moment of reflection, the question was what next.?
Yes, my project is still there, that's not a problem, NYSC, that's normal, the bone of contention was the days after all these, the thought of the labor market made a jerk on my spine, I've been working on avoiding or controlling it anyway.

Then, my mind settled on a rosy spot, that's what to think about, my passions, hobbies, loved ones, who have loved and left me alone all these while.

Finally, I considered the time, no, not my wrist watch, then I discovered, it was time to build, the foundation has been laid, thanks to my able lecturers, now is the time to build on the foundation. I drew the road map 5 years from now, with pen and paper, I laid the virtual bricks to the desired future, five years from now, it stands tall and bright.
I love it from where it stands.

Who is saying I don't know the future. If I never knew I will be a graduate today I wouldn't have written JAMB 5 years ago. I live in the solace that what I can conceive I can Achieve.

Even thought the course is uncharted, yet I know that every thought of the mind has magnitude and direction.

To all my fellow graduants especially those from Electrical/Electronics Engineering,  congrats and remember, today is the future your daddy told you about.
You are born special and great, never loose that believe.
To all my fans, am right here with you till the internet ends, I will be posting more frequently, after all, am not a student any longer.

Long live department of Electrical/Electronics Engineering
